Tami Fowler is a native Texan and grew up in Sherman Texas. She received her BA in Psychology/Sociology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. After graduation she moved to Dallas and spent a few years running an information company. She decided to move to Seattle for a change of scenery and was the Operations Director for a small residential telephone company while living there. Upon moving back to Dallas in 1993, she started working for AT&T and spent the next 21 years of her career managing customer service departments, customer on-site training and finally as a senior project manager for the network infrastructure side of the company. She retired from AT&T in 2014.
In January of 2016 Tami was asked to join Redeemer as Director of Operations and Finance for both the Dallas and Austin campuses. She feels it was one of the best decisions of her life. She has learned to totally trust God on a daily basis and has been overwhelmed by the generosity of the donors for the seminary. When asked her constant comment about the school is, “It’s such a blessing to see how much God loves this seminary.” One of her greatest joys has been to meet the students and hear their stories and the impact they have on the community outside of the school. God is doing amazing things through these students.
Tami is a long time East Dallas resident and lives near White Rock Lake with her husband Jaime, stepson Brendan (who’s currently attending the University of North Texas) and six very large dogs . She is very active in her community, serving on the board as a founding member of both the Casa View Haven Neighborhood Association and the Greater Casa View Alliance. She’s a member of Watermark Community Church.
